We are looking forward to Saturday, March 6th at 5 pm for our live virtual event to start!
Dinner RSVPs are due by February 12. Here are a few FAQs to help you understand the evening's festivities:
1. Q: Do I have to purchase a dinner to view the livestream show?
A: No, you do not have to purchase a dinner to participate in watching of the live show, bidding on silent auction items, or donating during the event.
2. Q: Do I have to enter my credit card for silent auction bidding?
A: Yes, please preregister yourself to receive a bidder number which entails registering your credit card.
3. Q: When will my credit card be charged?
A: If you are winner of an auction item or choose to donate with your credit card, your card will be charged within a week of March 6th.
4. Q: What is Malama Na Keiki 2021 benefitting?
A: This year, Malama Na Keiki proceeds directly fund the financial aid program and support our school 'ohana.
5. Q: When does the livestream event start?
A: The pre-show begins at 5 pm then the emcee, Toby San Luis will begin the formal program at 5:30 pm! The evening's livestream show will conclude around 6:15 pm.
6. Q: When will the Bell Dinners arrive at my home?
A: The Bell Dinner meals will arrive between 4 and 5:30 pm to the addresses you provided to Wendy Kaneda by February 12. These will be hot and ready to eat.
7. Q: When and where do I pick up my Family Meal?
A: Pick up your Family Meal on Saturday, March 6th at Hanahau'oli School at Upper Gate between 10 and 11 am. These will be cold needing to be heated.
8. Q: When will the silent auction be open for bidding?
A: Exact dates will be announced the week of February 22nd but the silent auction will conclude at 8 pm on Saturday, March 6th.
9. Q: What is new this year?
A: "Click for Keiki" is a new part of our virtual fundraiser offering our community an opportunity to contribute money to support financial aid at Hanahauoli school. This is live crowd funding lead by Eric Schiff to raise funds to support the keiki who attend and will attend the School that we all treasure.
